We bought a Nursery!
Have you heard the news? We’ve got an expansion going on at Gray Girl Farms and it is shaping up to be quite the project! This winter we acquired Emerald Desert Nursery in Quincy, WA. We are so excited to build on the legacy they have built in our community for years.
Robin announced her desire to retire last fall, and I immediately tracked her down to ask her to give me the opportunity to continue on with what she has built. I am so grateful for the opportunity.
Emerald Desert was a staple in our area, and it means alot to be trusted with the next chapter!
We are moving the nursery to our home place in Royal City, Washington and have spent the winter building an amazing and efficient nursery. We’ve retained four her awesome employees and we are all getting this thing figured out!

We will continue to share out updates via social media and our email list as things continue to evolve. But for now to answer some of the main questions we’ve been getting!
Yes, we are still going to continue to on with business as usual doing tubers & roots. Nothing is changing there!
We will be open to the public by appointment only and during a few select weekends each year. Want to set up an appointment? Call us! 509-761-2233 We will not operate full-time retail hours.
This is such a huge step for us and a real pivot in doing business. We are excited and learning new things daily and just trying to keep on taking every day in stride! Whether you are an existing customer, or a new one. I would love the opportunity to work with you.
